The Kansas City Officials Association was formed to:
- Provide training & education programs for on ice officials & other members of USA Hockey
- Provide on-going review & supervision of on ice officials & to assure that the highest standards
  of conduct & integrity are maintained
- Promote the sport of amateur ice hockey through the development of on ice officials
- Encourage the spirit of fair play & sportsmanship by providing safe & fair environments in
  which to conduct competition
